Jaxon was getting a little grumpy Saturday evening and I said “I think he misses Joey”. We showed him the picture of us and he went crazy!! He started talking, laughing, and throwing his body toward his daddy. He was trying to touch him through the frame!! I called Joey while he was doing this so that he could hear how much he was loved & missed!
A new CD for the road trip!!!
This is seriously the best CD (for kids young and old!!) I’m just glad Jaxon liked it as much as I did. I bought this at Target for our trip. Stacey did not enjoy it as much as us, however I think that I could make a CD like this!! The songs are so silly and fun!! If you have kids, I think you would really like it!! I plan on buying the other three that she has out!! I have been singing the songs all day long!! So fun!! I love it when I branch out and it turns out great!!

My parents, Jaxon & I went to dinner with my dear friend from childhood, Barbara & her baby Will & her mom Cheryl!! Yummy food and great company = a great evening!

Tonight Joey, Jaxon and I had a great time playing before bedtime. We tried on the boots that Paw-Paw winn bought for us. He really liked them, he even had a taste of them! I think they look so cute, maybe he can wear them if it will ever get cold around here!!
We were trying to get Jax to crawl across the room to his toy. He did a pretty good job, but got a little frustrated. It won’t be long!! I’m not sure we’re really ready for all the action!! Well…In the process, Jaxon’s diaper became a little loose. We had a little plumber’s crack going on!
As you can see, this is not the first time this has happened to little Jaxon. Could this be a sign of his future??? We’ll just have to wait and see. I’m sure if it is or isn’t he’ll be so thrilled that you all are getting an inside peek!!
Today was OC’s Homecoming. It was the first BB games of the season (excluding the OC vs. OU game last Thursday). Joey is an assistant for the women’s team. At the end of half time, Joey came over to give Jax a hug and kiss, and….Jaxon spit up all down Joey’s Suit Jacket!!! Oh Well!! The women won their game (by a lot), but we left before the men’s game was over, and we can’t find the score, so not sure about that for now! Jaxon enjoyed his first game at OC. Unexpectedly we ran into my uncle Steve (my dad’s brother), aunt Betty, Charles, Amy, and Sarah. It was such a nice surprise. It was nice to get to see them and catch up a little. Jaxon had fun playing with them. I also got to see several friends! It was a good day!!
So, I get bored easy!! So What!! If you know me well, you know I like to change things up a bit – often!! I really have a problem with this in the bedding department. Joey and I have “changed up” our bedding 10-12 times in the last 7 years. That dosen’t mean we’ve bought new bedding every time. Maybe a pillow here, or new coverlet there, you know!! Someday I will have a great garage sell full of bedding. Funny how now I work at a Fine Linen Store. Too bad our budget dosen’t allow for what I get to drool over every day!! So, with all that, I hope the drastic change in my blog didn’t make you think you hit the wrong link. It’s still just me!!!
On another note, I thought I’d share some disturbing photo’s Joey and I came across the other night. We were weeding through the almost 700 or so photo’s of Jaxon. (I know, poor kid!!) We found theese…This was the day before Jaxon was born….

Wow, what we go through for our babies. So worth it!! Jaxon went to bed so easily and early tonight. I had a little extra time to play (as if you couldn’t tell!) Now it is time to go. Joey and I made an agreement to meet at 10:30 to watch a movie and spend some time together. He has been enjoying his time off by playing playstation (NCAA Football 2006)!! Goodnight!!!!
I forgot to post a picture of Jaxon in his monkey costume. I don’t think he minded it too much. He proves this costume to be true on a daily basis. He is so active now. It is fun, but I’m not quite ready for all the action!! I hope you all had a happy halloween.
