I know my post’s have been pretty boring lately! I’ve decided to play…

Ok, so I know it’s Saturday today, but I promise to get it right next week!
This week’s assignment is:

I have lots of toys, so I’m including two of my favorites!! The first is our DVR box. The box is not the actual toy, but what it can do is! I am totally loving having this in our home. It has truly changed my tv life!

This second picture is pretty self-explanitory! I love playing with this one!!

Here is my secret: I am addicted to collecting magazines, recipes, books, anything interesting to read. I will browse through it, but I don’t finish before I get a new exciting piece of reading material and then the stack gets tall. Right now I have a lot of catching up to do!

And last, but not least, My Eye. I could not get a good picture of both of them, so I settled for this one. My eyes are probably one of my favorite things about me.
I come from a blue-eyed family & now I have a blue-eyed family of my own.


Ok, so I played! I don’t feel quite so boring now!

I think we are finally well. I HOPE! I am so glad that today is Saturday. I am so glad to have some alone time right now. It is 8:30 & I can’t believe it but Jaxon is still asleep (in his own bed) & so is Joey!!!! I’m sure it won’t last much longer, so I’ll have to hurry. I want to share a few new pictures of Jaxon.



I can’t believe how big he is. I can’t believe how much I love him. I can’t believe that I’m a mommy. I can’t believe how fast time goes by…….

Well, Jaxon is getting there. He is not dehydrated anymore, however the runny stuff will not go away. We need to have some solid #2!! For now, we are just trying to get back to “normal” around here. We are ready for our normal routines to begin hopefully tomorrow!! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers today. Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday!

At about 9:40, we decided to call Dr. H to let her know, that he had not had a wet diaper yet, but that we had done well with the fluids. When I hung up the phone from the paging service, Jaxon threw up EVERYTHING we’d given him tonight (all over Joey). So, she wanted us to head to the hospital. We packed up his bag, got dressed & I changed Jaxon from the little incident. When I took off his diaper…I noticed that it was wet!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!! We were so hoping to not have to go to the hospital. We called Dr. H back & she said we could stay home, but we have to go in first thing in the morning. She did inform me that “a terrible virus is going around”. No, really?? So…more tomorrow. goodnight~

So, I know my blog has been pretty boring lately, it’s due to several reasons…#1 we are right in the middle of BB season. High school season will be over in about 3 weeks, but we still have 2 months of College Ball to play. #2 We have all been sick. I won’t go into details, but we had a rough weekend. Then yesterday I came home sick from work & am just now feeling some better. Little Jaxon is somewhat dehydrated. It is now 9:12pm. If he does not have a wet diaper by 10:00pm, we have to call his Dr. so she can meet us at the hospital. We are forcing anything liquid down him & just waiting for him to “go” #1!!

I’ll let you know how it all turns out tomorrow….

Jaxon is sick again. I think this is the worst so far. His fever will not go away & he is miserable. He won’t eat or drink or really sleep. I hate it. At the Dr. This morning, we decided to peruse tubes. For now, I am just holding & pampering my baby. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers. Thank goodness for Elmo!!!

I can’t believe that my baby is growing so fast. I know I say that daily, but the time is passing so fast & it truly amazes me. We’ve had a great day! Joey surprised me & took the day off to hang out with us. We took Jax to the Dr. & he weigh’s 20 lb. 5 oz. & is 28″ long. His ear infections are cleared up & it was a good appointment. When we left the doctor, we made a trip to Target – Always fun! We had to buy a new carseat today. He seems pretty happy with the choice! He enjoyed watching TV in it!!

This picture reminds me of the first time that Jaxon rode in his current car seat…

Happy 50th Birthday Mom!! We love you!!

I can’t believe it’s been almost a week since I’ve posted. I really don’t know where the time has gone. Last week I went back to work & this weekend we did absolutely nothing. It was wonderful. Well, we did a few things, but it was a much needed relaxing weekend!
Jaxon is getting around VERY well these days. He is learning the meaning of mommy’s stern “no,no”. He doesn’t like it too well, but he understands and is doing a good job. He is going to sleep much easier now too. I can put him in his crib while drowsy & he just drifts to sleep. It is AMAZING!! We are still working on the middle of the night feeding, but I’m sure we’ll get there soon. His new thing is to sleep with his bottom in the air. It is the cutest! Oh yeah, he is also starting to eat finger foods. So far he’s tried carrots, peas, shredded cheese, pears, peaches, cottage cheese & bananas. He likes everything he’s tried so far. I plan to broaden his vegetable choices very soon. He loves all the jarred varieties, but I want to cook fresh veggies for him. He will be 9 months old on Wednesday. I can’t believe it. We will go to the Dr. for a check up on his ears & his 9 mth visit. I’m so curious to see how long he is & how much he weigh’s!! We are already starting to plan his first b-day party. I can’t wait to have all our family & friends at our house to see Jaxon (& to have cake of course!) I’m so excited!
We went to a BB game tonight. The girls’ team won & it was a good game. I am already looking forward to my day off this week! My sister is in Hollywood right now & I’m real jealous. I know she’s having fun! I am totally rambling & falling asleep. I will try to submit a REAL post tomorrow. This just makes our parent’s happy because of the picture update!! I hope all is well with each of you.
