stuff portrait Saturday!

Ok, so I know I promised last week that I’d actually post on Friday, but it just wasn’t possible. Better late than never!

Games I Play(ed)

These were my favorite games from way back in the day!! I have so many memories playing these two games!!

Our Games

Here are most of the games we own. Some of them are out in the garage so I didn’t bother. I’d like to point out one of the best games EVER – Uno Attack! I have many memories playing this with Jason & Renee before we had kids!

Our Family Game

Ok. Here is the nerdy truth. Sometimes Joey & I have battleship tournaments. I know. What nerd’s! Oh well, it is so much fun. We are so competitive with each other and it is one game that involves strategy that I’m pretty good at!

I love playing games. Card games, board games, dominoes, anything really. It’s a shame that we don’t get to play more often….

Did YOU play SPF????

Way Back Wednesday

Today’s assignment was “money, money, money”
Well, I’m not showing pictures of us with bling, or anything that represents $$ (mainly because I couldn’t be creative enough to find them)
so, I decided to go a different route (and because I finally figured out how to save scanned pictures so that they will post!) – The Lack of!
Here we are. My Joey and I. We have never really had a lot of $$$$$$, but we have always been happy.
Here’s the big day!

I love this picture. Taken at the church camp we grew up going to each summer, met at, & fell in love at. This one has very special memories because this building is no longer there. I have so many memories of this building (from about 4 yrs old) & I love that this special captured moment of us is in that building!

This one is at Camp, June 2003. This is also one of my all time favorite pictures of Joey and I.

I know that I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, supportive husband that works so hard every day so that we can have the $$$ to provide a comfortable life for ourselves & Jaxon!

find the celebrity in YOU!!

I stumbled upon this site this morning. It is fun, but I warn you, can be disappointing! I tried many photo’s. Some of the three of us, then of us individually. Here is my celebrity match.. Pretty good hugh! We were a perfect match, including our body type:

I WISH!!!

For fun, I’ve taken upon myself to match several people. Here we go!
Renee & I
Stacey
Jaxon – this is the best one!
Me & Joe We’ll take it!
Amanda
Shannon
grandmother K
Mom & Sandy
IsabelleThis is a good one!
Jason & Joey
Me & Renee This is better than the before photo!
I so had a few more to do, but I think it got tired of me!! As you can tell, it is quite addicting…I’ve delayed our errands by about 45 min!! Oh Well, Jax didn’t seem to mind. Also, it’s pretty obvious that it totally depends on the picture. One person will get SEvERal diff. celeb matches!! Have fun!!!

he makes me laugh…

Oh my! Jaxon Josiah may be one of the funniest little people I’ve ever met (not an actual little person, but a young person!) He does something every day that makes me laugh out loud.
It will not be long until he’s walking… He cruises around the house pushing his walker, but he does not have great balance yet. Tonight he walked around the coffee table 3 times. He let nothing get in his way, not even his toy baskets! He just steps in & out of them to get around.
Then he decided to take a little break!

Last night I laid Jaxon down to go to sleep on his own. I gave myself a time limit & then I would go & comfort him. I didn’t even make it to the limit, before it was quiet. I went to check on him and found this…

I guess he just gave in & decided that the bumper made a pretty good pillow!!
So tonight I did the same thing, laid him down & this time it was even a shorter time before it was quiet. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this…

Maybe I need to get this boy a pillow!!
I feel so blessed to have a happy, healthy, funny baby!
