Finally something good has happend to me! I was offered a job with Chase Bank. I will be a loan officer in Mortgage banking. I start May 10th! I will not be working at the clothing store anymore & I will get to help shut down Lin Lily – which makes me so happy!

So…thank you all for your prayers & thoughts these last few weeks. I feel so blessed & am thankful for my new opportunity.

My goal for the next week is to get my house organized…declutter. I plan on having a garage sale Friday & Saturday with Renee. I have TONS of recipes that need to be organized in some way, I have TONS of magazines that need to be gone through, I have a linen closet that needs some weeding out (probably should do before the garage sale), I have TONS of hallmark cards & stationary that need to be organized in my cute little card box, I have a bunch of baby stuff that needs to be put away in storage, and so much more. I hope to get as much done as possible, but with working some and a baby that wants ALL my attention, it will be a little challenging!

**If you have any suggestions for organizing the recipes tear out’s that I have – please help me come up with something. I had tried to start a notebook a while ago, but it was not executed well & didn’t work out – so I need suggestions!**

I feel like a new person just knowing that I have my Saturdays back!!!

That is all I can think of for now – I need to get to bed – I am going to group power class at 5:30 in the morning. I love that class!!! It is coreographed weight training – love it & seeing results!

I promise I will start blogging regularly again & I will come up with more interesting stuff!!!

Thank you all for the sweet comments of encouragement lately. Lord knows I’ve needed them & the prayers!
My week has been better than last. Today was my day off & although I worked for part of, it was still a good day. Jaxon had his 12 month photo shoot today. We were scheduled for 10:00, which is usually considered late morning for me. Not today! Jaxon & I woke up at 9:45!!!! I haven’t slept that late in probably 5 years! It was great. I guess my body really needed the rest. I fell asleep on the couch last night before 9:00. Thankfully Jaxon slept with me this morning. So, we were able to reschedule the pictures for 11:00!
Jaxon was not very cooperative during the photo shoot. We managed to get ONE pose out of like 45 shots that turned out. Here it is!

I love how it captures his sweetness. He is a sweet boy. He is MY sweet boy & he loves me too!

I went to a body pump class yesterday. That is a class at 5:30am where basically, you lift weights to music. It works out all the major muscle groups. I really enjoyed it. I wonder why I waited so long to try it out. Let me just say…I’m feeling it today!!! It feels so good! I love it when my muscles hurt because that means I’m doing something good for my body. I was going to go to a core fitness class this morning, but hit snooze instead & you know the rest of the story! I’ll go back to pump class tomorrow & work out these sore muscles!!

I’ve made two new recipes this week. Both very good. The first was stuffed shells. They were stuffed with cottage cheese, spinach & other stuff & then had marinara sauce on top. SOO good! Jax especially liked it!
The second sounds so gross & the name of the recipe makes you want to not even consider it. After hearing that they were good I decided to try it & I’m glad I did. Jax absolutely loved the “poppin fresh bbq cups”. If you have kids you should try them. You can e-mail me at suzannewinn at yahoo for the recipes.

My house is a mess. My MIL stayed with us Sunday night to keep Jax on Monday because he had a fever. We do not have guest bedroom anymore, so we pulled the mattress & box spring in from the garage. We set it up in the back of the living room. We have not had a chance to put it away. It’s kind of funny! Jax thinks it’s the coolest thing! Joey does too. He laid on it last night while I heated up dinner. It’s pretty ghetto to have a bed in the living room, but for now it’s ok! At least it’s made up pretty!

Jaxon slept in HIS OWN BED ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!!!! AND…tongiht I laid him down while still awake…no crying…asleep within 5 minutes!!! HALLELUJAH!

Thats about all I can think of right now! I need to go prepare an outfit for tomorrow!

I am officially claiming this week OVER!!!

I am about to go to bed & I couldn’t be more happy that when I wake up in the morning It will be a new week. A fresh start.

This week has been one of the worst, hardest, suckiest, toughest, yuckiest, dreadfulest, bad weeks EVER!!

Today I started my new job. It was ok. I think in the long run, it will be fine & I will adjust.

Jaxon woke up in the middle of the night with a 104.3 fever. This morning he threw up all over Joey right before I had to leave for work. It was soooo hard for me to walk out that door this morning.

Joey is still suffering from his back pain.

I wore heels today – stupid, stupid, stupid!

I sold 1667.00 today!

I got home at 6:30pm on a Saturday

When I got home I totally lost it. When I held Jaxon in my arms I could not let him go & I was so sorry I had missed today with him & Joey. I know that soon, Saturdays will be just another day of the week to me, but that dosen’t change today.

My sweet Joey went out to pick up dinner. Total comfort food. Not good for me. Who cares? (well really I do because I have to fit into my clothes!)

I pray that next week (starting tomorrow) that I will have a better attitude and outlook on my new adventure.

GOODNIGHT & sweet dreams!

Ok, so I thought my Wednesday was crazy, not even close to today! First of all, let me start at the beginning of the week.
So…I go into work Monday morning to find out that we are closing our store. Emotional for me on so many levels. First of all, I have known my boss for 9 years. We are very close. I used to keep her daughter when she was 9 – now she’s almost 18! Crazy. So, there’s the fact that I won’t get to see her everyday. Then the major blow – I need a job! I am very blessed at my work now. Working 4 days a week, making great $, great benefits, great people, understanding of a mommy’s life, beautiful things…I could go on & on!
The nice thing was that my boss found me a job before she told me the bad news. I will be working at a great clothing store in Nichols Hills Plaza – where I work now. I am as excited as I can be for having my whole easy life turned upside down. I know change can be good & it will all be okay, but it is scary & I don’t like change when I have no control in it. I still feel like I am in a dream and Monday things will all be back to normal, but it is all very real! The thing that will change the most is my work in general. I will be going from store/office manager to a regular employee. I will go from working 30 hrs a week to 40+ & working EVERY Saturday. This is going to change our family time – dramatically. Ok, enough about that for now – please just keep us in your prayers during this adjustment time.

So, my day…first off Jax had to get two shots & blood drawn=screaming, always hard for a mommy. To make things worse, because of my work situation, I could not stay home with him this morning, so I had to drop him off at Sonshine School=screaming, not good. When I opened my car door at school, I heard a hissing sound. My tire was going flat! I made it to the other side of town & dropped it off at the Nichols Hills service station. They were able to take out the piece of hard plastic that punctured my tire! I worked late & we are selling things like crazy so it was such a busy day. I was so tired when I got to pick up my car. The guy brought it around for me, I payed him & then went to my car to find that he’d locked my keys inside with it running! Yea!

I finally made it home about an hour late. My sweet Joey had dinner ready & I got to sit on the couch and relax! Thank you sweetie!

Needless to say, I am exhausted. Exhausted of today. Exhausted of this week.
I start my new job on SATURDAY.
I’m sure my day will be better tomorrow & I hope you have a good one too!

Yesterday was my day off & I did not rest at all. I should have. Oh well.
I made a new chicken enchilada recipe last night – The Conley’s came over for dinner! I will have to post the recipe – they were soo good!

This morning Jax is going to the dr. for his 12 month vist & shots – no fun!!

I need to go get ready…more tonight!!

It’s so amazing what a year will do to change your life. My life is so different. My life is so full ~ of love, crazienss, messes, fun, and even more love. It’s amazing how much I love this little boy.
I have been pretty emotional today. I am so excited that Jaxon is one, but sad at the same time. The sentiment of it all gets to me. I feel so blessed it is overwhelming. There is also some stuff going on that I will tell you about later that is not helping. So, I will just share a lot of pictures!!!

Oh yeah, FYI – my last post was my 100th post!!

Well, the party turned out great! We had a fun time. Jaxon was a little overwhelmed, but not too much. We had a great turn out, about 23 people, lots of good food, cake & Jax got lots of fun presents! I was very surprised, but Jaxon wasn’t too into the cake. I think it’s because he had such big audience. We’ll give it a try again on Tuesday – the REAL birthday!

Blogger is being temperamental and won’t upload my photos…So I’ll have to try to post them in the morning.

Well, today is the day we get to celebrate one year of Jaxon. I can’t believe it is here. His birthday is not until Tuesday, so we will do it again then too!

That’s what you can call me today. My day started at 5:30 when I got out of bed to go to the gym. I worked out a little harder than I had been, so I felt really good when I left. I came home and weighed myself before I got in the shower…NOT GOOD! Let’s just say – I am so motivated. As if not being able to wear my pants & looking pretty flabby in all my shirts wasn’t enough motivation. I need to lose 11 pounds to be where I was at when I got pregnant with Jaxon. Wow!
So here is a list of what I’ve accomplished today!

~worked out & showered all before 7:00am
~did 2 complete loads of laundry
~unloaded the dishwasher
~cuddled with Jax when he woke up at 8:45
~changed a soaked & poopy diaper
~fed Jax breakfast
~got myself ready
~changed another diaper
~got Jax ready
~went to the party store
~bought WAY too many helium ballons (will pick up saturday)
~went by the bakery to finalize the cake design
~went to wal-mart to get plates, napkins, cups, forks………………….
~went through the taco bell drive through for Joey
~went through planet sub drive through for myself & Jax
~ate lunch with Joey
~went to wal-mart neighborhood market to buy all the party food
~arrived at home with a sleeping baby at 1:15
~put jax in his bed & unloaded the car & put groceries away
~changed & played with jax when he woke up at 1:45
~ordered prints online to pick up at the one-hour photo lab
~visited with my friend Lise’ who stopped by
~cleaned out the refrigerator (still needs to be wiped down)
~ate dinner with the conley’s at our house
~they watched jaxon so I could run to hobby lobby(Joey has his master’s class on Wed. nights)
~everything at hobby lobby I needed was half off – score!!
~sang my sweet baby boy to sleep
