Jaxon helped me finish our taxes the other night!

Here’s a new trick for mom’s with toddlers. I’m not sure if this is ok or not, but hey…it works! A few weeks ago, Jax and I were doing a little shopping & like most toddlers, the nice, quiet Jax didn’t last long! I was looking in my purse for something for him to eat or do to buy me just a little time! Ahha, the Ipod!!! It was a HIT (no pun intended)!! So now my Ipod has a “Jax Playlist” with all his Laurie Berkner fav’s!

Sunday afternoon, Jaxon saw the Ipod on the desk & wanted to listen!! I’d much rather him want to listen to music than watch TV!!

I took this yesterday. Jaxon & Barley will be best buds one day, but right now, they are constantly “fighting”!! I’m glad Jax is smiling here because Barley has caused MANY tears over the last two weeks!

Today was one of those days that everything just seemed right! First of all, I was off work for President’s Day! Jax and I had our normal morning routine & then headed off to run our errands. We were home by 9:30, it was great!! We had a fun-filled day! We watched very little tv, had art time, played basketball with his new official size BB (Barley has ruined all of his light-weight balls, so we had to get a new one today and I could not find a toddler size ball, so he got a HUGE one!), took a nap together, blew half a bottle of bubbles, made dinner for daddy & best of all….PLAYED OUTSIDE!!!!!!

It is finally getting pretty outside! I love spring & am so excited for all it brings!

I’m sitting here numb after watching Grey’s tonight. I don’t want to think too much into it. We’ll just have to wait & see. Seriously though, the show can’t be called GREY’s anatomy without GREY. Seriously. (no, even if she is still on the show but not alive. That dosen’t count. WILL NOT MAKE ME HAPPY)
