Then it’s off to bed – although it’s still hard to fall asleep with all the excitement in the air!

The day after Christmas may be one of my favorite days of the year. Don’t get me wrong I love the excitement that each day in November and December brings but the day after is just so fun! I love that it is still a day off of work for me. I love that all the anticipation is over, our hearts are full of memories because the real fun and time with family has just been had and the mood is really relaxed.

Tomorrow I head back to work! My sister left to go back to Cali today. Everything is returning to normal. Normal is kind of crazy around here, but it feels good! I have so much that I cannot wait to share….so stay tuned!

For one of our Christmas Jar activities, we went to Toys R Us to look around. Instead of writing down the wish list..we went digital! These pics were taken with Joey’s iphone! This is a portion of the child’s wish list!
Despite the look on his face in most of these – Jaxon really was excited to be there!

Well, in true Suzanne fashion…. I have WAY TOO MUCH on my plate right now! If you watch the news, you know that interest rates are low, so in my world that is a GREAT thing! I’ve been SWAMPED!! So, I’ve been working every night this week after Jaxon goes to bed! My kitchen table looks like Christmas threw up on it! I’ve taken no pictures of Christmas jar activities, we’re lucky to even draw some days! My house is a wreck. Thankfully Joey has been taking care of as much as possible.

So… I’ll be back…. I’ll miss you but I’ll be back soon!!

By the way…….. I get to see my sister in 5 days!!! I haven’t seen her since 9/07 – Joey and Jax haven’t seen her since 12/06. Actually we have seen her on ichat, but not in person…so we’re really excited!

My wife is the coolest Mommy/Wife any one could ever hope to have. My son worships her, I adore her, and she is what makes our world go round. As we draw closer to our ten year anniversary, I look back at the difference she has made in my life and I am humbled and honored that God chose her for me. I know some of you follow her blog and see all of the wonderful things that she can do and the way she adores her son, but all of this pales in comparison to the woman she really is. I hope she inspires you as she does Jaxon and I each and every day. At times we take her for granted, and for that Suzy… I am sorry. You are the only thing in this world that Jaxon and I need. You may not be allowed in the boys only tent sometimes, but you will forever be the only girl allowed in our hearts. We love you and we cherish you… thank you for being you. Love Jaxon and Joe.
